There are two ways to get from Athens to Paros:

Airplane
You can fly from any European city (Discount airfares) to Athens, Santorini or Mykonos and then take the boat from there to Paros. Or you catch a connecting flight from Athens and you will arrive half an hour later on our island. If you want to travel by plane, visit www.olympicair.com for more info. We suggest flying from Athens to Paros for most convenience, and if you order a flight ticket months before departure, the prices are usually competetive compared to ferry prices.

Ferry
There are daily departures from the port of Piraeus and Rafina. Duration 2 hours and 45 minutes with a high speed boat and 4 hours and 45 minutes with a normal boat.
There are buses departing straight from Athens airport to Piraeus and Rafina port. From there you'll find ferries departing to Paros everyday almost every second hour until 5.30 - 6 pm. If travelling before the middle of July, or after the ends of august usually there is no need for booking a ticket with the ferry, since there are always available tickets at the port. Read more about the ferries, and book your ferry online at www.bluestarferries.com.

On Paros
When you get to Paros, the easiest way to get around, is by car or motorbike, which can be rented in one of the many shops on the island.
